Had a college student here for a few days last week. I know her folks from tennis, and she asked to use my studio/take some lessons. She was interested in making a teapot. It's been over 40 years since I made a teapot! Made a few, and it was a blast. May inspire me to delve again into the world of tea!

Local sales
It is our intention as this website begins, to encourage folks to visit our studio for conversation, coffee, demonstrations, and sales. We want to primarily do sales locally, in order to avoid the time & effort it takes managing, packing, mailing, etc. (more time for pot making!)

Long "comment" here, Jim, but I can't thank you enough for having us by while we were passing through Juneau on our way to Elfin Cove for a week of fishing (had a blast!). My sons didn't understand my interest in your pottery (any, really) until they saw your studio.....and they were floored (ha!). As you'll recall, I chose and purchased three specific pieces....two wall-hanging planters and one free-hanging planter. Well, turns out my eldest son had been eyeballing that last planter, too, and when I picked and bought it, he was disappointed to find you didn't have a matching version (kind of a cobalt blue) on hand. I, of course, relented and let him have it for his wife. It now proudly hangs in their kitchen, right by the window.....just as yours do. So, I'm going to have to bother you for another, at some point, along with addition pieces of interest.....a mug or two and perhaps a tea pot and/or sugar bowl. Just absolutely LOVE your creations and can hardly wait till 2028, when I'll be passing through Juneau again. Anyway, I wanted to reach out and thank you once again for your gracious invitation to see your studio and your quick OJT on how you chatter-cut external surface designs......my allotted time there was entirely too short.
